Part two of our interview with Kenny. We more about Faerie lore, Magic, The history of Gypsies, why having a Faerie god mother sucks and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had a thing for hot  teenagers!  All of the music from parts one and two can be found on Kenny’s Sight.

In this Episode we speak with Faerie folklorist Kenny klein. Barring the weird Skype audio anomalies, Kenny was a blast to talk with. As you might guess we talk about Faerie folklore and Kenny’s books but we also touch on the broader topics like Gypsy folklore and Gypsy magic. All of the music for this weeks show came courtesy of Mr Klein at the web sight provided below.   As usual part two of this show will pop up in the feed in a few days.

Interesting article about sleep Paralysis actually killing people.

Thanks Miles for finding this one.

Nightmare_edit.jpg

“They died in their sleep one by one, thousands of miles from home. Their median age was 33. All but one — 116 of the 117 — were healthy men. Immigrants from southeast Asia, you could count the time most had spent on American soil in just months. At the peak of the deaths in the early 1980s, the death rate from this mysterious problem among the Hmong ethnic group was equivalent to the top five natural causes of death for other American men in their age group.

Something was killing Hmong men in their sleep, and no one could figure out what it was. There was no obvious cause of death. None of them had been sick, physically. The men weren’t clustered all that tightly, geographically speaking. They were united by dislocation from Laos and a shared culture, but little else. Even House would have been stumped.”    - Link to full story bellow

We topped over 4000 unique downloads last night within 15 episodes.  Thanks everyone for the support. Please please continue to spread the word about our show to your friends, Via Facebook, Via Blogs, to anyone who will listen and to that weird guy outside the Grocery store that says the CIA put a radio in his head.. Because its true..and we control his signal..

The conclusion of our interview with Dr Tyler Kokjohn. Enjoy

Basically what it says above. I have found that when I post episodes back to back, it screws up I tunes and seems to really screw over our Stitcher listeners. This is why some of you only see  ”Part two of ect.” Stitcher and Itunes will only download the most recent episode. So now when we have 2 part episodes, I’ll be posting them a few days apart from one another. Why don’t I just post one long 2 hour episode? Mostly it has to do with the limited amount of bandwidth that we have and Upload restrictions from our provider.

This week we speak with Dr Tyler Kokjohn. Dr Kokjohn is a professor of micro biology at the Arizona institute of Osteopathic Medicine, He is also a principle scientist ( read as “A  Head Honcho”) at the Banner Sun Health Research Institute and all around nice guy. So what does he do? He’s working on the cure for Alzheimer. We ask Dr Tyler about Big Pharam conspiracy theories, Nano-tech, Stem cell research, his work with Alzheimer research and a ton of other topics. This is one of those science shows we keep talking about. Hope you enjoy.
